Robert Strong Woodard Event in Old Deerfield

"What Did Robert Frost & Jack Benny Have In Common?" . . . this banner hangs over Bridge Street in Shelburne Falls announcing the Exhibition of Robert Strong Woodward's works to be display in Old Deerfield.

The Exhibition begins on September 21st and runs through October 14th.  The native artist spent many years painting the New England countryside from his Buckland home and studios in surrounding towns.

BUT . . . When you ask, "What Did Robert Frost & Jack Benny Have in Common?" . . . Robert Strong Woodward!  I spent some time reviewing the website and didn't see any reference to this fact so, if you head to the exhibit let us know what you find out.  Did they own his paintings? Were they friends?
