Local Real Estate sales for the last 30 days share the MAR optimism the market could be leveling off. Hampshire county single family sales actually rose in number of sales by 28% with an increase in sale price of 13%.  In Franklin County the actual number of sales increased 21% however the sale price remained virtually the same. When reviewing information over a larger span of time, the market still shows sale prices could be leveling off. With  research for the last 6 months, we find the Franklin County sale price for a single family home again virtually stayed the same and in Hampshire County the sale price rose 5.4%. So, if you are in a position to purchase, now may be the time to consult your Coldwell Banker Upton-Massamont agent for more information.
